- About Us
In addition to the meet sheets, which are linked to from the Schedule page and the home page calendar, there are a variety of online tools that may be of interest to the competitive swimmer:
If you are entering a meet, and have times for events you are entering, but those times are for a different course type (for example you have 25 yard pool times and are entering a long course meet), Swimming World has a conversion page.
Have you ever wondered if your friends have registered for an upcoming swim meet? Swim Phone will show you everyone that has registered for a meet. You can then figure out which of your friends needs a reminder to register. Swim Phone will also show you how many people have entered each event.
For our Championship meets, psych sheets are published in advance. Then, closer to the meet, for events that will not require check-in, heat sheets are generated. Psych sheets and heat sheets are sometimes made available on Swim Phone, and other times emailed as PDF attachments. Usually an estimated meet timeline is included.
Many Friday events at our Championship meets require positive check in. This will be available on Swim Phone the day before the meet (and sometimes earlier). Swim Phone runs in a browser and can be used on your mobile device or on a regular desktop computer.
Meet Mobile is the name of an iPhone/iPad app and an Android app created by the Swim Phone folks. For our Championship meets, it will provide heat and lane assignments. For an additional fee, you can receive real time results. Just a few short moments after your swim is complete, you can see not only your time, but your splits!
Competitions outside Pacific Masters
There are many competitions around the United States. Many of them, if not all, use Swim Phone and Meet Mobile in a similar fashion. Registered swimmers are always shown, and sometimes psych sheets, heat sheets, and results are shown too.
